Aston Martin DB9 Sun Bathing

The absolutely stunning Aston Martin DB9. This is a classic shot from Cars and Coffee Irvine, when they were still holding it at the Mazda HQ parking lot.

This is of course at one of the loading docks which has become an iconic super car photo location. This also happens to be one of the very batch of portfolio-worthy RallyWays photos from the early days. In fact, we liked it so much that this shot was used for many months as the cover to our website and our social media pages. Eventually we retired it from use, but it still is one of our favorite earlier super car shots.

Contemporary Aston Martins generally have the same look. The untrained eye can’t really distinguish between a Vantage, a Vanquish and this DB9 you see here. See, Aston just so happened to design one of the most beautiful car body shapes known to man and decided, “hey, let’s just use this same shape on all our cars.” After all, they got it right.

We like how the car color fits the mood of the photo as well as the lighting. It speaks classy.
