After a day of driving your favorite car on the road or track, there is nothing more fun than getting in your easy chair with a good book about… well, about that favorite car obviously!

I immediately noticed though, that most of the recent publications you can buy today are workshop manuals, or books that tell you about one particular Miata generation. However, there is one exception, and that is a quite recent release written by Road and Track’s senior editor Thomas Bryant. It is the book called Mazda MX-5 Miata: Twenty-Five Years.

This Miata book covers the entire history of the car, from the development stage and the first prototypes of the NA model, to the NB and the most recent facelift of the NC generation. Since it was published in November 2014, only a little bit is written about the ND model, including a couple early prototype renders, which is perfectly normal of course.
