The Good Guys Lone Star Nationals at Ft. Worth’s Texas Motor Speedway are always a good shows – great weather, massive crowds, and 2,500 of the best of automobiles made in the pre-1972 era.

Photographer Shane Ray – working with H&H Classic, a company that sells classic Chevrolet parts – took some incredible shots at this show, and he has agreed to share them with us below.

The Good Guys 21st Annual Lone Star Nationals classic car show was held at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas. The show featured an eclectic variety of vehicles grouped into five categories: hot rods, custom rides, beautified classics, intimidating muscle cars and striking vintage trucks.

"Slammed

This slammed vintage two-toned blue Chevy truck was in surprisingly stock condition minus the extreme lowered suspension and wheels.

"Vintage

A peek into the same truck’s engine bay shows the owner put a great amount of effort into making the engine bay as clean and crisp as the rest of the truck.

"GoodGuys

With this vintage Chevy truck, a similar story could be told, it was also two toned blue (with a slightly darker tint), had a lowered suspension, custom wheels, but everything else was essentially the way Chevrolet designed it to be.

"Custom

The owner shows off his creativity with his surf board that seems to be an ode to his truck – the board has the same paint scheme, down to the woodgrain trim.

"Chevrolet

This awesome convertible Chevy Chevelle Malibu SS takes us back to a time where beauty and grace could successfully be integrated into an extremely intimidating muscle car design. Its striking white body and red racing stripes made this car hard to ignore, both in its production days and at the show.

"Chevrolet

It was only slightly customized with aftermarket wheels, but who can complain?
